From space to (non)place is een project waar de focus ligt op de gaten en minder geslaagde toepassingen van ruimtelijke ordening in het centrumgebied van Nijmegen.

Een grote hoeveelheid blindentegels leidend naar twijfelachtige bestemmingen, verdwaalde wegmarkeringen en een zeer eigenaardig geplaatst trapje, komen samen in een wandelroute.

Deze route biedt een aandachtig en humoristisch perspectief op de vergeten plekken in de openbare ruimte, welke zichtbaar worden gemaakt door specifiek geplaatste posters.

De route beslaat het gehele winkelcentrum, je loopt door een park en langs een stukje waalkade, en valt vanaf iedere aangegeven locatie te starten.
From space to (non)place’ is a project that concentrates on holes and less organized structures in the public space in the city center of Nijmegen.

A serie of tiles especially made for the blind which lead to doubtful destinations throughout the city, a few marks on the road which seems to be lost, and strangely placed stairs that are leading to nowhere are all combined in a tour.

This tour offers an inspiring and humoristic perspective of forgotten spaces in the public space. These spaces become places and visible by specifically placed posters which can be found throughout the city center.

The focus of the tour is the city center of Nijmegen. It contains part of the shopping area, the park and river (the Waal).
